We recently found a classic country station here in Louisville and I love listening to it. It brings back memories of when I was growing up. I will try and post a song or music video each Friday for a while, sharing some great classic country songs from my past.

First start with a pallet. It has to be the kind pictured, or else it wont work.

Knock out middle support.

We were trilled with how they turned out. We got the pallets for free at a local flower shop and a local playground realtor. Just the cost of paint, screws and sanding blocks we were set!

Spring is in the air here and it is only March. Shorts, flip flops and scraped knees from here on.
Last week Abby started swimming lessons at Southern. She had so much fun. It was her first time realizing you can take lessons. Now she wants to take dance lessons. We told her one thing at a time.

Abby wasn't so sure about this but she tried floating and did great!
Gliding: Holding onto the wall, putting one hand out and pushing with her feet off the wall. So brave!
Unfortunately we just got told (week 2) that the heater in the pool went out and they are going to have to cancel until further notice. So it might be a few weeks before we get to do lessons again. In the mean time there is a community pool that Mike will take Abby to.
Seems strange that a week ago we received 3 inches of snow and this morning I woke up to the windows being open all night, 66 degrees and birds chirping. That’s Kentucky!
There was a 2 hour late start that day for Kids. I just had to laugh. The streets were so warm that no snow stuck to the streets. Needless to say kids took the opportunity to make snowmen. It was horrifying to see them melting in 70 degree weather the next day.
2 years already, this is nuts. It has gone way to fast.
